Some paintings begin with a place you love. Others begin with a pet, a memory, or a story you want to hold onto. I’d love to hear what you have in mind and create an original painting that feels personal to you.

What I Paint

I take on commissions inspired by Louisiana and coastal life, wildlife, pets, faith, and meaningful places or moments. If you have a different idea, you’re welcome to ask. Each piece is created in my own style rather than copied from another painting.

Commissions generally begin at 18″ × 24″. Size, detail, framing, and timeline will be discussed before you commit. A 50% deposit reserves your place and allows me to begin; the remaining balance is due before pickup or delivery.

How It Works

Tell me your idea. Share the subject, size you’re considering, colors you love, and any photos or details that matter to you.

We’ll talk it through. I’ll let you know whether the project is a good fit and give you a quote and estimated timeline.

I’ll bring it to life. Your painting will be made just for you, with the layers, texture, and expressive details that make it a LOC original.

A Commission Story

Lady Pearl began with a couple’s wish for a shrimp boat painting and grew into a celebration of 30 years of marriage. Small details throughout the piece honor their family and the life they’ve built together. That’s what I love about commissions: the finished painting can carry a story only its owner knows fully.
